I live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my amazing husband, son and dog, Darryl. I work for Queen City Clay, one of the coolest clay studios you will ever find. When I am not working for QCC or busy being a mom, I have a little time left to make work.
I graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a BFA in Ceramics. I then spent a year in Boulder, Colorado doing a post-bacc at University of Colorado. After that, I went to graduate school at Rhode Island School of Design. During these years I focused mainly on conceptual sculpture.
After graduate school my husband and I moved back to Cincinnati to be closer to our family. I found Queen City Clay and fell in love. I started making pottery after a long stretch of sculpture. I have slowly been incorporating more sculptural, hand-built elements into my pottery forms.
